There's a new woman at the top of the career assists leaderboard in IIHF Women's World Championship history. Team USA captain Hilary Knight made that spot hers on Tuesday night (15 April), tallying three assists in a 5-0 win over Switzerland to close out USA's 2025 World Championship group stage campaign with a perfect 4-0-0-0 record. Knight went into the game on 47 assists, two behind the previous record-holder Hayley Wickenheiser of Canada.
