Wetherell was previously creative director at Boden from 2019 and 2022. Prior to that, he spent nine years at Net-A-Porter, first as art director since 2010 before becoming creative director in 2016. He has also worked as art director at fashion magazines including Esquire, GQ, Harpers Bazaar and InStyle. In his new role, Wetherell (pictured, left) will lead the marketing creative direction at Tala and report to CEO Morgan Fowles. The appointment comes ahead of the brand's international expansion.

Drapers understands Adanola has appointed advisers at professional services firm PwC to find prospective investors to accelerate its growth plans. Tom Copeland, partner of corporate finance at PwC, is believed to be leading the sale process. Copeland previously advised Gymshark on its minority stake sale to private equity firm General Atlantic in 2020, which valued the brand at more than £1bn.
