2CC is an AM radio station located in Canberra, Australia. It started its broadcasts in 1975 on the frequency of 1210 kHz, before switching to 1206 kHz in 1978. The station is co-owned by Capital Radio Network and Grant Broadcasters, both of which are regional radio operators.

The Canberra community is being reminded that 3D printed guns and gun parts are illegal. An incident last week saw ACT Policing officers attend a school after being informed that a staff member had brought a 3D printed handgun to the school. The gun was not shown in a class and the teacher returned home later that day. Police later executed a search warrant at the teacher’s home, where the firearm was seized as well as the 3D printer used to make the firearm.

Garrod has not been seen or heard from since 3pm today (Monday, 14 April 2025) and was last seen in the Fyshwick area. He is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 170cm (5’6”) tall, with a solid build, fair complexion, brown hair and a full beard. He was last seen wearing a striped black, white, and brown shirt, long grey pants, black boots and carrying a black backpack.

An 85-year-old Sydney man has become the third road fatality for 2025 following a collision that occurred in Watson last month. On the afternoon of 23 March (2025) at the intersection of the Federal Highway and Antill Street, a station wagon left the road and collided with a tree. The two occupants were transported to hospital with the male driver sadly dying in hospital yesterday (Sunday 13 April 2025). This brings the ACT road toll for 2025 to 3 persons. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
