148Apps
148Apps was established shortly after the launch of the iTunes App Store in July 2008. Our mission from the beginning has been to offer you valuable insights into the top iOS applications through a variety of reviews and up-to-date news articles. We aim to sift through the best options available, providing you with the information you need to make informed choices, so you don’t have to spend hours searching through your iPhone for the ideal app. Alongside our reviews and news updates, we monitor app sales, track new releases, and highlight price drops in the iTunes App Store. Additionally, we are building vibrant communities on platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

Each month, I want to share some less formal thoughts about the games I've been playing and my impressions of them. These might be game's that got reviewed for the site or not. As an individual person covering a storefront that is shoveling titles onto its store each day, I have time to dip my toes into a lot of it, but I can't always spend the time needed for a review. Niantic are on a roll lately with Monster Hunter Now, with Chameleos on their way, an event to get fire weapons, and a critical hit-happy Driftsmelting all coming in rapid succession. Looking at the list of upcoming features, though, this seems to be the tip of a very exciting iceberg. One of the biggest issues with the Monster Hunter series is that it has so many cool weapons, it is tough to choose one to main, as it were.

If I wanted to play an action shooter, my personal preference would be Warframe, in all honesty, I enjoy it immensely. However, no one can deny the phenomenal impact that Destiny had on the genre, and indeed, games as a whole, which is why news of a closed beta for Destiny: Rising is so intriguing. A little headline teaser there, and we will get to it, but let's draw out the suspense and instead visit the pre-registration.
