Our goal is to explore important topics, delve into significant stories, and highlight a wide range of perspectives. This initiative is supported by the Royal African Society (RAS) and was co-founded in collaboration with The World Peace Foundation and the International Africa Institute.

She was born when Kenya was a colonial state and married during the struggle for freedom, her role in which is a story for another day.
