Al Quds Al Arabi
Al Quds Al Arabi, which translates to "Arab Jerusalem" in English, is a daily newspaper that operates independently and serves the pan-Arab community. Established in London in 1989, it is owned by Palestinians living abroad. The paper's guiding principle is expressed in its motto, which means "daily, political, independent" in Arabic. Its circulation is estimated to range from 15,000 to 50,000 copies. Abdel Bari Atwan, who was born in a Palestinian refugee camp in the Gaza Strip in 1950, served as the editor-in-chief from the newspaper's inception until July 2013.
