Alliance of Women Film Journalists

The Alliance of Women Film Journalists, Inc. (AWFJ) is a nonprofit organization made up of professional female film critics, journalists, and feature writers across print, broadcast, and online platforms. Their mission is to promote the work of women in film, both in front of and behind the camera. They engage in various promotional efforts, outreach initiatives, and host award ceremonies to honor exceptional achievements (as well as notable missteps) related to women in cinema.
