American Hospital Association
The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a key national body that supports and represents a variety of hospitals, healthcare networks, and the patients and communities they serve. This organization is made up of nearly 5,000 hospitals, healthcare systems, networks, and 43,000 individual members. AHA works diligently to ensure that the viewpoints and needs of its members are recognized and addressed in the formation of national health policies, legislative discussions, regulatory issues, and court cases. Their advocacy covers both the legislative and executive branches, as well as regulatory matters. Established in 1898, the AHA also plays a vital role in educating healthcare leaders and providing valuable insights on health-related issues and trends.
