Amherst Bee
Bee Group Newspapers is a collection of community newspapers based in Western New York, published by Bee Publishing, Incorporated, headquartered in Williamsville. The company traces its roots back to 1877 with the establishment of the Lancaster Bee. Bee Group Newspapers serves Erie County, New York, focusing on local towns, villages, and school districts. With a weekly audience of 175,672 readers, their publications feature local government updates, a renowned classified section, and various special themed sections released throughout the year. The Bee Group is affiliated with both the New York Press Association and the National Newspaper Association. Their distinctive black boxes, marked with "The Bee" in bright yellow, can be easily found and hold complimentary copies of the newspapers. Additionally, there are over 250 racks in busy areas displaying the papers. The Amherst Bee and Cheektowaga Bee continue to be paid subscription newspapers, delivered to homes each week.
