Apple Podcasts, often referred to as Podcasts on Apple devices, is a media player app and audio streaming service created by Apple Inc. for listening to podcasts. Apple introduced podcast support in iTunes 4.9 back in June 2005 and released its first standalone app for mobile devices in 2012. Starting in October 2014, the app became a standard feature on iOS. The Apple Podcasts directory boasts over two million different shows. This service is accessible on various platforms, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, CarPlay, Microsoft Windows, and even on Amazon Alexa devices.
