    If there is one thing I have always done when getting into a new car to drive and share my thoughts on, it has been to keep an open mind for the first couple of days before forming an immediate opinion. It’s served me well over the years but I have to say that my time with the Bronco Sport Freewheeling you see here represents the first time that I can remember a car I initially thought was garish, I ended up really enjoying the look of by the end of my time with it.

    Back in May of 2024 we were thrown the keys to a 2024 Doodge Hornet GT and we shared our finding here. We were not terribly impressed nor were we terribly disappointed by the Hornet GT. Maybe we were a little confused. The advertising for the Hornet is very performance skewed and while we gave a nod to the efficiency and functionality of the Hornet GT we didn’t find that performance that Dodge really touts in their ads.

    Waylon Jennings famously sang, “I grew up on music that we call Western Swing. It don’t matter who’s in Austin. Bob Wills is still the king.” Sure, that’s a lyric from an old song you likely have not heard. Hell, you may have no idea who Bob Wills was, but the man was a pioneer. He founded a genre of country music called Western Swing, a genre that inspired people like Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings.
