    Apfel House’s Design ConceptThe Apfel House features two arms set at right angles to each other. One arm extends parallel to Lake Ranco and the mountain range, accommodating a common area, services, and the main bedroom. The other arm, forming a “T” shaped floor plan, houses four bedrooms and three bathrooms, positioned against the first arm. The idea behind the Apfel House was to create a simple and unassuming architecture that still carried a sense of elegance.

    Harudot is an independent café in Chonburi, a famous beachside town in Thailand. The café was created by collaborating with the owner of Nana Coffee Roasters and the landlord, who is interested in unique plants. The name “Haru,” which means “Spring” in Japanese, represents new beginnings and growth, while “Dot” signifies a starting point. Harudot’s Design ConceptThe café aims to attract visitors and incorporate the landlord’s identity into its design to represent the unique partnership.

    The design process for the Sanqingshan Geological Museum began in late spring. After exploring lush, thriving mountains, we arrived at a serene valley with an oblique east-west orientation. Scattered amidst the rolling hills were several residential houses crafted from stone or brick, with cascading rice fields beyond adorned with scattered “field stones,” creating a picturesque rural landscape. It was within this enchanting setting that we discovered the museum’s location.

    The new pool complex in Češča Vas is located in an area mainly defined by the recently renovated velodrome. We prioritize maintaining the existing spatial dynamics without significantly changing by adding the swimming pool facility. Introducing such alterations would disrupt the harmony of the space, which we aim to avoid, and it would only make it more crowded. Therefore, the new pool facility in Češča Vas maximizes the topographical characteristics of the sloped terrain.
