Bass Player

Bass Player is a dedicated magazine for bass enthusiasts. Each edition features a range of content, including interviews with artists, educational lessons, gear reviews, and fully transcribed bass lines from popular songs. Established in 1988 as a branch of Guitar Player magazine, Jim Roberts served as its inaugural editor. The magazine is based in San Bruno, California, and is currently published by New Bay Media. Bass Player also organizes an annual event called Bass Player LIVE!, which took place in New York City from 2004 to 2007 before moving to Hollywood, California in 2008.
