An oceanfront Palm Beach property on the North End that hadn’t been on the market since it was built more than 30 years ago sold late last month for $31 million. Real estate investor Paul L. “Jay” Maddock Jr., whom The Palm Beach Daily says hails from one of the island’s original families, and his wife, Cynthlen “Lynn“ Maddock, built the residence at 1160 N. Suffolk County deed transfers available this week show the “society” designer’s house at 53 Glover Street traded on Feb. 11, 2025. A retail building in the heart of East Hampton Village, home to the Prada, sold recently for $10.25 million. The two-story, 4,000-square-foot space at 2 Newtown Lane traded at $2,563 per square foot. The deal closed on Thursday, April 3. Burgeoning boutique brokerage firm Tahari Realty was behind the deal, led by managing partner Jordan Sutton and agent Mark Goldberg, with the seller, Benchmark Real Estate, capitalizing on the continued strength of the Hamptons luxury retail market.
Condo at The Bristol Sells for More than Double in 5 Years

A unit in The Bristol in West Palm Beach sold for $14.9 million, more than double the purchase price from just five years ago. The corner-residence condo at 1100 S Flagler Dr #1401, which boasts direct ocean and Intracoastal Waterway views, traded for $14.9 million. In 2020, it sold for $6.9 million. Samantha Curry of Douglas Elliman represented the seller in the latest transaction, and Antoinette Vigilante with Sotheby’s International Realty brought the buyer.
