I feel a lot of dread looking back at what I’ve bought in the past month, which is making me realize this is why I haven’t tracked my clothing spending before! Doing this makes me feel a little bad. So I avoid it. So much so that I realized this month that while I’ve been adding purchases to a spreadsheet as I make them, I haven’t been dating the entries? So now I don’t know which are from which month. But ok, whatever! I will be dating entries going forward.

We’re 1/4 of the way through 2025. Did the April Fool’s day jokes fall as flat for you as they did for me this year? I couldn’t muster the energy to laugh at the FREE USED UNDERWEAR WITH ORDERS OVER $99 or even the nightmare-ish Wirefull bra. For me, March ended with a visit from my mom and some extended family which was a nice excuse to do some tourist-y things in my own city. I went to the Biopark, took a tour of Old Town, hiked around the petroglyphs, and soaked in some hot springs.

Most days lately I’ve pulled on a pair of loose black cargo jeans. Some mornings I have to pull them straight out of the dryer and some mornings they’re still on my floor from the night before. I’ve been wearing them almost every day because they are unbelievably comfortable. They have an elastic waist and a drawstring, but they feel more substantial than sweatpants. Despite wearing these pants more days in a row than I care to admit on the internet, I’ve been hesitant to buy another pair.
