June 3, 2025First, our hearts go out to the folks in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Newfoundland. The prairies had a rushed mass evacuation last week as the winds shifted and sent wildfires racing across the land. Fires also struck in Newfoundland in the Churchill Falls area. At the same time, Ontario and Quebec were cool and overcast with plenty of rain. Environment Canada predicts a hot summer is ahead but in recent years, we have started to experience extreme weather events more frequently.

June 3, 2025Five new models launch to accommodate larger boatsSeakeeper, Inc., the leader in marine motion control, announced the launch of five new Seakeeper Ride products, making complete underway stabilization available for boats 43-55 feet in length for the first time. The new products include the Seakeeper Ride 900, Seakeeper Ride 1050, Seakeeper Ride 1125, Seakeeper Ride 1275 and Seakeeper Ride 1500. Each new product will consist of four controllers.

June 3, 2025In Loving Memory of Kenneth Lorne Blodgett, May 17th 1946 – November 29th 2024On Friday, November 29th, 2024, Ken was taken from us suddenly in Gore Bay in his 78th year after a near half century battling complications of Type 1 Diabetes. While we process this incredible loss and sadness, we are comforted by the fact that Ken lived a long, full life of fun and adventure. Born and raised in Toronto, entering his adult years Ken would start his journey north.
