Bobit Business Media is a family-owned media organization that started in 1961 when Ed Bobit introduced its main publication, Automotive Fleet. In 1977, Ed relocated the company from Illinois to Southern California in search of a milder climate. "After spending so many years in the Chicago area, we simply wanted to enjoy winters without the hassle of shoveling snow!" recalls Ed Bobit, who passed away in 2014. Under his leadership, the company grew to be a prominent B-to-B media entity in the West, expanding by acquiring various new titles.
