The FARNHAM HERALD newspaper series was founded by E.W. Langham, who opened a small printing office on South Street in Farnham in 1892. Due to its growing popularity and rise in sales, Mr. Langham decided to expand by opening an office on West Street in Haslemere, where he launched the Haslemere Herald in 1896.

Y+ Youth Services will deliver both existing and new programmes at Woodlands Hall on Larch Road from June 2025, under an anticipated 10-year lease. The hall will soon offer services for young people and the wider community, as the local charity assumes responsibility for its day-to-day running.
