Bossier Press-Tribune

Bossier Press-Tribune

The Bossier Press-Tribune is a local newspaper that focuses on news from Bossier Parish in northwestern Louisiana, while also covering some regional, state, and national topics that are relevant to its audience. This publication is released on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from its office located at 4250 Viking Drive in Bossier City. The history of The Press-Tribune dates back to 1940 when it started as the weekly Bossier Tribune, competing with the Planters Press. In 1945, T. L. Morris sold it to Larry Freeman, who was also the publisher of a Jewish newspaper based in Shreveport. In the late 1970s, the Bossier Tribune merged with The Planters Press to form what is now known as the Bossier Press-Tribune.
