63 The Glenbrook Lady Apaches and Lakeside Lady Warriors won Thursday. Glenbrook defeated Family Community 12-1 at Glenbrook, and Lakeside edged Evangel Christian 5-4 at Evangel. At Glenbrook, Hallie Harmon went 3-for-4 with a home run, double and four RBI in the five-inning game. Gabi Brown went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI. Colby Hollis, Hadley Haynes and Ellie Earnhardt all went 2-for-3. Anna Grace Vining had two RBI. Rebecca Mosley got the win.

54 The Glenbrook Apaches and Lakeside Warriors suffered tough losses to qualify opponents from District 1-4A Thursday. Glenbrook fell to North DeSoto 8-6 in Stonewall. The Griffins (20-10) entered the game at No. 3 in the non-select Division II power rankings per GeauxPreps.com. Lakeside dropped a 6-5 decision to Northwood (24-4) at Northwood. The Falcons entered the game at No. 2 in the non-select Division I rankings.

Wednesday’s win marked the first time Tech scored double-digit runs against ULL in consecutive games since 1979, and the first time sweeping the season series since 2020.
