Belt-fed. It’s a fun term, and it’s my favorite type of weapon. Call it my machine gunner mentality or a reflection of the joys of going cyclic; just don’t call me late for ammo resupply. As a machine gunner (from whence came the term belt-fed machine gun), I have loved belt-fed firearms with a fierce and terrible love for many years. I handled my fair share of these guns in my time as a Marine, but we’re not here to talk about that. Well, much.

Wheel guns are rarely quiet – but that’s not never, and not every suppressed revolver is always a Nagant. Read on to learn about the Stechkin OTS 38 revolver. Mad DuoOkay, stop me if you’ve read this one…“So I flicked off the safety of my suppressed snub-nosed revolver and emptied five rounds of 7.62 into the target, each one so silent that you would have thought I was dry-firing the gun. I had a spare moon clip of 7.62 ready to go.”Do you think that sounds stupid?

Multiple sources (or a handful of sources repeated multiple times, I can’t tell) are reporting that a number of Russian drone operators have been killed or wounded by booby-trapped (explosive) FPV drone goggles. It’s a move reminiscent of what the Israelis did with Hezbollah pagers and cell phones in September of last year. Hard to believe that is a coincidence…Anyway, I first spotted the story on @saintjavelin.

Some LEO agencies inexplicably still limit authorization of pistol lights to specialty units (too aggressive looking!) Some gun owners and CCW types continue to argue against the advantage of a pistol light for concealed carry for reasons…well, reasons — other than concealment difficulties inherent in the WML’s added geometry — that continue to escape me.

Tags: Reptilia, Reptilia Corp I started planning to build my ultimate ranch rifle a long time ago. The process required me first to pick the rifle, which ended up being a CZ600 Trail. I had initially set the rifle up for night vision but ended up going the thermal route. I needed to pick an optic height that suited me, which tends to be high due to my fat head.
