COMMERCE CITY – Saturday night, Ted Ku-DiPietro made his 2025 debut for the Colorado Rapids. This came after offseason shoulder surgery and a February cash transfer from his hometown D.C. United for $1.125 million. Colorado’s most significant attacking addition and newest winger is here. Let’s get to know him better. First, he goes by Ted, Ku, or Ku-D. Only his mom calls him Theodore and that’s usually when he’s in trouble. Similar to Oli Larraz.

Commerce City – The Colorado Rapids finally have a third goalkeeper on their first team roster. Friday morning, the club announced Rapids 2 keeper Nicolas Hansen. The contract is a one-year deal for 2025 with club options for 2026 and 2027. Hansen had previously been called-up a few times with Zack Steffen and Adam Beaudry unavailable. now the Rapids have straight up made him the Rapids third goalkeeper. It’s not have this clarity given the Burgundy Boys where thin at that position.

COMMERCE CITY – Last Friday, Colorado Rapids confirmed the signing of Orange County SC winger Bryce Jamison. The deal is a three-year contract through 2027 with team options for 2028 and 2029. Jamison will remain with OCSC on loan for the rest of 2025. The 19-year-old joined the USL Championship side in 2022. Prior to that, he was at the Barcelona Residency Academy in Arizona, which Oliver Larraz spent time at as well. Jamison has been a regular starter in 2023 and 2024.

But it was the Rapids who looked the more gassed of the two teams. Chris Armas left his starting lineup unchanged from last week. Kévin Cabral started at right wing to the frustration of several Rapids supporters. Ian Murphy was at left back with Reggie Cannon hurt.
