    Commerce City – Well a good week of training and a bunch of shots amounted to little for Colorado Rapids on Saturday night against Austin FC. Who had a Rafael Navarro own goal on their bingo card? Let us know in the comments. Chris Armas made just two changes from the team that played 10 days prior at Portland. Rafael Navarro was back from his ankle injury at striker. Chido Awaziem started at center back. That moved Darren Yapi and Ian Murphy to the bench.

    Commerce City – Calvin Harris gets on the ball just outside the box. He cuts inside on defender Francisco Calvo. He absolutely cooks him. Harris is confident. For the first time in his professional career, he arrived. Harris came to Colorado in 2023 after a trade with FC Cincinnati. He struggled for minutes in X years with Cincinnati and sought a trade to get minutes. While 2023 was monumentally disappointing for the club, it was a year of growth for Calvin.

    Windsor – The Northern Colorado Hailstorm are not dead yet. Back in April, the club announced that they were joining “The League For Clubs” (or simply “The League”). This came after the United Soccer League terminated their franchise contract with USL League Two. They almost merged with Colorado Rapids 2 to play in MLS NEXT Pro, but that fell through. One of the entities associated with the Future Legends Complex declared bankruptcy. Their proper stadium has been delayed several years at this point.
