A strong hit in its 1970s run, Chicago became a phenomenon during its late-90s Broadway and West End revivals. Based on a 1920s play which was itself based on real life events, we follow two “merry murderesses” – rivals Velma Kelly and Roxy Hart – as they court celebrity while trying to avoid the hangman’s knot.

Not your razzle-dazzle type musical, DEH deals with teenage depression and suicide.
