I Got Too Sad For My Friends (Play It Again Sam)A quiet powerhouse of thoughtful indie ballads, Shura is smiling through the pain on her latest album, I Got Too Sad For My Friends. Mayhem (Interscope)Mother Monster is back. Not the rave queen from the planet Chromatica. Not Joanne. Not Harley Quinn. Not Tony Bennett’s other jazz half. The OG Mother Monster. The countdown for Mayhem, Lady Gaga’s seventh solo studio album, began with the release of lead single Disease last October, a complete departure from her late summer crooner Die With a Smile with squeaky-clean pop prince Bruno Mars (though the two now top and tail the same album).
