June 12, 2025 On June 22, the Metro Marine Modellers invite the public to their Give it a Try event on Sunday, June 22, from 10 AM to 2PM at Mississauga’s Lakefront Promenade, near the eastern side of the park by the Douglas Kennedy Headlands Playground. This free event offers a unique opportunity to experience radio-controlled model boating firsthand. Boats will be provided, and everyone — including beginners — is welcome to take the controls and discover the fun of the hobby.
