Canadian Cardiovascular Society

The journey started in 1947 when three doctors envisioned a collaborative space for specialists to work together on research, exchange knowledge, and enhance their learning. Fast forward to today, the Canadian Cardiovascular Society™ has grown to include more than 2,500 members. It is recognized both nationally and internationally by cardiovascular healthcare professionals for significant achievements, including the annual Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC), the CCS Angina classification system, pan-Canadian Access to Care Benchmarks that cover the full spectrum of cardiovascular care, and the creation of Canadian guidelines for diagnosing and treating heart failure, among others.
