Fact CheckedOptus customers are the latest group of Aussies to be hit with a price rise, with the telco quietly increasing costs across its range of postpaid mobile plans. Plans prices have jumped by $3 per month on all of Optus’ postpaid Choice Plus options, with the exception of its $69 Promo plan. This means new and current customers will pay $36 per more year for their mobile plan.

Fact CheckedTPG, Vodafone and iiNet NBN customers will soon be hit with a bigger broadband bill, thanks to new price increases from parent company TPG Telecom. From March 26, monthly prices on selected plans will jump as much as $9 per month, adding up to $108 per year to customer’s bills. The changes will apply both to new customers signing up to TPG, Vodafone or iiNet, as well as existing customers being moved across from older legacy plans.
