Cheryl Strayed's Dear Sugar
Hi there! Welcome to the Dear Sugar Letters, where I respond to letters from real individuals seeking guidance. My replies will embrace the heartfelt and thoughtful style that fans of my book, Tiny Beautiful Things, and my Dear Sugars podcast (which I co-host with Steve Almond) are familiar with. Each month, right in your inbox, you'll get to explore the challenges, victories, secrets, desires, pains, fantasies, anxieties, uncertainties, and aspirations of others. What could be more enriching? I invite you to be part of this journey. You can also subscribe to my regular newsletter here, which is always free of charge.

Hello friends,I hope you’re hearts are holding strong in these harrowing times. My own heart zigs and zags between holding strong and silently shriveling up into a tiny ball of rage, sorrow, and despair. I first discovered Chelsea Bieker’s work a few years ago when I was culling the bookshelves in my bedroom and came upon a glittering gold copy of her debut novel, Godshot.
