Panipat, Haryana: The 2024–25 crushing season at the Panipat Cooperative Sugar Mill concluded on April 10. This season, the mill led all 11 cooperative sugar mills in Haryana—including 10 under the cooperative sector and one HAFED mill in Assandh, by crushing a 62.10 lakh quintals of sugarcane, reported Dainik Tribune. Panipat was also the top performer among the four cooperative mills in the state, Panipat, Karnal, Shahabad, and Rohtak, that are equipped with power generation turbines.

મહારાષ્ટ્રમાં શેરડી પીલાણની સીઝન લગભગ પૂરી થઈ ગઈ છે, 2024-25 સીઝનમાં ભાગ લેનાર 200 મિલમાંથી માત્ર એક જ મિલ હજુ કાર્યરત છે. પુણેમાં આવેલી આ બાકી રહેલી મિલ ટૂંક સમયમાં તેનું કામકાજ પૂર્ણ કરે તેવી અપેક્ષા છે. શુગર કમિશનરેટના અહેવાલ મુજબ, 15 એપ્રિલ સુધીમાં રાજ્યમાં 199 ખાંડ મિલોએ પોતાનું કામકાજ પૂર્ણ કરી લીધું હતું. આમાં સોલાપુરમાં 45 મિલ, કોલ્હાપુરમાં 40 મિલ, પુણેમાં 30 મિલ, નાંદેડમાં 29 મિલ, અહિલ્યાનગરમાં 26 મિલ, છત્રપતિ સંભાજીનગરમાં 22 મિલ, અમરાવતીમાં 4 મિલ અને નાગપુરમાં 3 મિલનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
