A massive project aiming to create the world’s largest green hydrogen plant has reached a major milestone, with 80% of construction now finished across all its sites. This ambitious undertaking, being built at Oxagon in NEOM, is on track to change how the world gets its clean energy. The plan is for the main equipment to start running and for the first batches of ammonia, made from green hydrogen, to be ready by 2027, reports Chemanalyst.news.

Praj, a global leader in bioeconomy-driven process solutions, will support the development, assessment, and phased implementation of a fully integrated Biorefinery Project in Paraguay. The Biorefinery aims to produce, in addition to ethanol, co-products such as distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS), corn oil, biogas, biobitumen and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Indian mining and metals company Vedanta Ltd announced a series of initiatives aimed at reducing its carbon footprint. The company said it is exploring the use of biodiesel in its commercial vehicle fleet at its Jharsuguda township in Odisha following successful pilot tests, according to the PTI. Vedanta Aluminium also reaffirmed its goal to transition 100% of its light motor vehicle fleet to cleaner alternatives by 2030.
