    Shortly after ending her marriage with John David Smith III, Janice Hartman vanished from Doylestown, Ohio, on November 17, 1974. It wasn’t until 1980 that her remains were found sealed in a wooden box in rural northwestern Indiana, and they were identified decades later in 2000. John’s second wife, Betty Fran Smith, then disappeared without a trace from her West Windsor, New Jersey, home in October 1991. Her remains were never uncovered.

She’d just been on a usual and “chaotic” grocery store run, walking through random aisles and grabbing whatever products she needed. Sometime during her trip, though, she noticed how the same employee kept showing up in all the aisles she entered.

So, she wound up telling the woman off. For some context, she was sitting in front of the mother and two children, who looked to be between the ages of 5 and 7. Both of the kids were using their iPads at full volume: one to watch Cocomelon, and the other to play a game.
