CHPB-FM is an adult contemporary radio station located in Cochrane, Ontario, Canada, operating at a frequency of 98.1 MHz on the FM band. The station started its broadcasts in 2003 and was initially owned by Tri-Tel Communications. Later, on November 19, 2003, the Haliburton Broadcasting Group received permission to take over ownership of CHPB-FM from Tri-Tel.

Roxanne DesRoches says horticultural and historical specialists are part of the group. They’re looking at putting flowers in green spaces, for example; and the maintenance of assets like the Lake Commando Boardwalk. The official 50th anniversary of the Iroquois Falls Public Library building is May 1st. But it will be closed, while new flooring and shelves are installed.. Assistant librarian Haley Montreuil says the closure runs from April 28th until May 20th. “Any books taken out between now and the 28th or any books renewed will be due on the 20th of May when we reopen,” she advises. “No fines will be accrued during the closure.”The limit on the number of books borrowed by an adult will be waived.
