It operates on the 800 kHz frequency and is based in Windsor, Ontario, catering to both the Windsor and Detroit areas. The station employs a five-tower directional antenna that has different broadcasting patterns during the day and night to avoid interference with XEROK-AM, a Class-A clear-channel station located in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, as well as other nearby stations on the same frequency. Its transmitter is situated in southern Essex County, close to Harrow, and just a short distance from the Lake Erie shoreline.

The event has since expanded to include two itineraries -- one that makes its way across Canada and another that makes its way through parts of the United States.
