On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 11 calls about a vehicle crashing into guardrails and the median on Highway 401. On April 4, 2025, exposures occurred at Foodland in Picton (11 a.m. to 1:20 p.m.) and Gillingham Brewing Company in Bloomfield (3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).     A 19-year-old driver was arrested early Wednesday morning following a RIDE program conducted by Prince Edward County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Officers set up a checkpoint on Highway 62 at around 2:15 a.m. on April 9, 2025, using an Approved Screening Device. The driver, Isaiah Traore of Prince Edward County, was arrested and taken to the detachment for further testing.
