Cleveland County Herald
Founded in 1888 in Rison, Arkansas, the Cleveland County Herald holds the title of the oldest newspaper still in circulation in Cleveland County. It is situated at 215 Main Street in Rison and releases a new edition every Wednesday. The newspaper is available at various local stores and is also mailed through the Post Office.

RISON - Global entertainer Charles Esten will headline this year's Rison in the Fall Festival, Saturday, Oct. 12, festival director Douglas Boultinghouse has announced. Esten is a Guinness World Record musician and acclaimed actor known for his roles as Ward Cameron on Netflix's Outer Banks, and Deacon Claybourne on ABC/CMT's Nashville. The star will perform songs from the series, as well as music from his debut full-length album, "Love Ain't Pretty," released this year.
