But plans and opportunities change, and the campaign evolved into the purchase of a building located at 625 E. North Broadway. It is along the south side of North Broadway, just off a small road extension before Broadway dips below the railroad tracks. The facility formerly housed EM Engineering Group.

According to a message from CCS superintendent Dr. Angela Chapman, this reduction in state funding could put essential district programs and services at risk. In a statement released by Policy Matters Ohio, a non-profit policy research institute, the budget proposal included the final phase of the Fair School Funding Plan.
