A Colorado activist, former radio host, and occasional political candidate has recently taken a leadership role at the prominent far-right activist group Moms for Liberty. Deborah Flora, a Colorado-based activist who has built a reputation for her focus on conservative education reform policies, including promoting “parental rights” and charter schools, now joins Moms for Liberty founder Tina Descovich and Florida state Representative Monique Miller on the nonprofit’s national Board of Directors.

U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-CO) has joined with Senate Democrats to introduce the  Stop Comstock Act to protect access to medication abortions like Mifepristone. The legislation would repeal the Comstock Act of 1873, which anti-abortion activists have threatened to invoke to effectively end access to medication abortion without a single act of Congress.
