In the main event Sean Clancy Jr. improved to 7-0 by defeating Brazilian veteran Italo Gomes. It wasn’t easy, though. In the first round Gomes threatened Clancy with a flurry of submissions including a very deep kneebar. Clancy survived, though.

The event aired live on UFC Fight Pass at 7 p.m. ETIn the main event Richie Miranda defeated Richie Lewis to win the LFA lightweight title in a fantastic fight.

On Friday, Apr. 18, the Professional Fighters League hosted PFL 2025 World Tournament: First Round 3, live from Universal Studios Orlando in Orlando, Fla. The event featured the first round of the middleweight and lightweight tournaments. In the main event Fabian Edwards finished Impa Kasanganay in the second round. This fight was competitive in the first round, with most the action happening in the clinch. In the second, Edwards was wobbled early on.

On Friday, April 18, BRAVE Combat Federation hosted BRAVE CF 93: Tutarauli vs. Eskaraev, live from Zhengzhou, Henan, China. The event featured lightweights in the main event with Georgia’s Rauli Tutarauli taking on Kazakhstan’s Olzhas Eskaraev in the main event. Tutarauli took the main event with a unanimous decision victory. Eskaraev was able to outwrestle Tutarauli in the first. But after that Tutarauli was able to hurt Eskaraev on the feet/clinch to set up his own take downs.

This Friday, Apr. 18, the Professional Fighters League continues its 2025 PFL World Tournament at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla. Last week we had the bantamweights and women’s flyweights brackets competing. This week it’s the turn of the middleweights and lightweights. And there are lots of recognizable faces, from PFL and beyond, in these brackets. Let’s hope these fights make it through the weigh-ins this time. The event airs live on ESPN+ starting at 5 p.m. ET.
