    There are so many Mexican eateries in Los Angeles, and indeed right here in Gardena, that finding the perfect spot can sometimes feel like looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack. It is hard, in fact, to find a truly bad one. Most of them are decent at a minimum. But to find the place that you just want to keep going back to again and again, to take friends and family from out of town when they’re visiting – that’s the real challenge.     The Culver City Police Department released a statement on Tuesday, May 20, reporting on an incident that occurred at about 1:45 a.m. that morning. “Officers attempted to stop a stolen black pick-up truck near Sepulveda Blvd and Jefferson Blvd,” they said. “The driver failed to stop and within seconds accelerated to approximately 70 miles per hour, ran through a red light, lost control, and crashed near Green Valley Circle—flipping onto its side and shearing a light pole.
