Daily Chronicle
The Daily Chronicle is a newspaper serving DeKalb County in northern Illinois. Its headquarters and printing facilities are situated in DeKalb, a city located around 60 miles west of Chicago along Interstate 88. As of September 30, 2006, the paper had a daily circulation of 9,968 and a Sunday circulation of 10,719. Originally owned by Scripps League Newspapers, it was taken over by Pulitzer in 1996, which was later purchased by Lee Enterprises in 2005. In late 2007, Shaw Newspapers, now known as Shaw Media, acquired the publication.
