Dave Weinberg Extra Points
With a background as a sportswriter and columnist for the Press of Atlantic City, I've dedicated over 30 years to covering the vibrant world of sports in South Jersey, focusing on its athletes, coaches, and teams. For nearly three decades, I served as a beat writer for the beloved Philadelphia Eagles. This role took me to every NFL city and allowed me to witness two Super Bowls, including the Eagles' historic first championship in 57 years at Super Bowl LII. During the off-seasons – and often during the games – I could be found at various sporting events, from high school baseball games to championship boxing matches, the ShopRite LPGA Classic golf tournament, and even the final race of the NASCAR season. As a columnist, I occasionally stepped beyond the realm of sports to share stories about local individuals, capturing their triumphs, challenges, and significant moments. This passion for storytelling continues through my recent blog, where I explore similar themes. Throughout my career, I've been honored to be inducted into three Halls of Fame and have received three New Jersey Sportswriter of the Year awards, along with numerous accolades at both national and local levels.

About the only difference was their wardrobe.
