DCReport
DCReport is a nonprofit news organization dedicated to sharing what actions the President and Congress take, rather than just what they say. Our foundation is built on the essential principles of investigative journalism, focusing on thorough research, accurate fact-checking, and clear communication about how decisions made in Washington, D.C. affect you and your family. We will keep you informed about changes in laws, rules, or policies, giving you advance notice whenever possible. Our goal is to help you understand how to assert your Constitutional rights and challenge any changes that may negatively impact your rights and protections as citizens, consumers, workers, investors, and voters. We will provide you with factual information, allowing you to make your own decisions rather than telling you what to do. Additionally, we will guide you on how to make your voice heard, even when faced with obstacles to citizen engagement in governmental decisions.

Do more to foster emerging journalists and storytellers.

Standing Up for What's RightWe at DCReport recently came across a very powerful post on LinkedIn from Jon Macaskill, a retired Navy SEAL Commander. He spoke his mind on the recent firing of General CQ Brown from his role as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. We run it here with Mr. Macaskill's permission. I've bitten my tongue long enough. I know politics doesn't belong on LinkedIn. I get it. But this... this isn't about politics. It's about leadership. It's about integrity.

After Trump’s Win, Some Democrats Wavered on Trans Rights. Now, They Seem Ready To Defend Them. Senate Democrats were unified on Monday in blocking a trans sports ban. The bill, which would have amended federal civil rights law to ban transgender girls from girls’ sports in federally-funded schools, was Democrats’ first test on whether they will fight anti-trans laws in a Republican-controlled Congress that has prioritized rolling back trans rights.
