Decibel is a monthly magazine dedicated to heavy metal music, released by Red Flag Media, which is based in Philadelphia. It has been in circulation since October 2004. The magazine features various sections, such as Upfront, Features, Reviews, Guest Columns, and the Decibel Hall of Fame. Its current tagline is "Extremely Extreme," having previously been "The New Noise." The editor-in-chief of Decibel is Albert Mudrian.
