MetalSucks

MetalSucks is a news website dedicated to heavy metal music. It offers a variety of content, including reviews, interviews, updates on the newest metal releases, and blog-style articles contributed by the site's writers. The website was established in December 2006 by two friends who go by the pen names Vince Neilstein and Axl Rosenberg. They chose these names as a playful way to make it harder for anyone, like a concerned father from an Avenged Sevenfold concert, to find them.

The Osbournes are no strangers to attending Comic Cons, as they’ve been listed as special guests in the past. During those appearances, fans could pay money to meet Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne, get some shit signed, and take a photo.

Having spent last year celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band’s first album Calculating Infinity, The Dillinger Escape Plan has been on the road a lot lately. Bolstered by the band’s reunion with co-founding member and original vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, they’ve managed to play to crowds of all ages and connected with fans new and old.

Over the weekend, soccer (or football as the rest of the world calls it) fans were treated to a Linkin Park concert ahead of this past Saturday’s UEFA Champions League finals in Munich, Germany. It was supposed to be a moment of excitement and I guess triumph for the insanely influential soccer league, but some folks weren’t too thrilled with the arrangement.

In the halls of black metal, there are few bands more iconic and influential than Emperor. Fronted by Ihsahn since its inception, the band has been largely dormant up until a couple years ago when they hit the road for the first time in 15 years. Hell, they haven’t released a new album since 2001 — but is there really a world where that changes and we get something new?
