It is a partnership between them and Wallace Community College Selma to introduce students in the Black Belt to aviation careers. Demopolis and Marengo County students attended this event last year. The state has a rich history of aviation at Craig Airport.

Published 12:00 pm Wednesday, April 30, 2025 The Demopolis boys and girls track teams are sending 21 athletes to state after having great success at the Class 5A, Section 1 track meet. The boys finished in first place while the girls were the runners-up in the section. According to the school, it is the first time they won a sectional meet. On the boys side, Fred Aldridge took first place in the 200-meter dash and second in the 110-meter hurdles.
