The Dearborn Inn has been given new life. The 94-year-old property, which was originally built by Henry Ford and designed by Albert Kahn across from what was once the Ford Airport, is again welcoming guests after undergoing a gleaming transformation. “It was a Marriott hotel and now it’s part of the Marriott Autograph Collection,” explains Marriott’s William McGowan, who attended the inn’s grand opening in late March, after the facility had been closed for two years during renovations.

Your votes were counted, and the winner was clear. The Cameron, from Bloomfield Hills-based Sapphire Luxury Homes, took first place and has received the Readers’ Choice award for Best Overall Home. Truthfully, it’s no surprise. This 10,000-square-foot masterpiece, completed in May 2024, features a Mediterranean-meets-modern aesthetic and is the picture of luxurious living. Upon arrival, one is first greeted by a classic brick paver driveway that leads to the home’s timeless limestone façade.
