Diken

Diken is a digital newspaper published in Turkish, overseen by editors Erdal Güven and Emrah Temizkan. Launched on January 27, 2014, it was founded by Harun Simavi, who is the grandson of the notable Sedat Simavi. Harun Simavi articulated Diken's purpose as follows: "To act as a thorn in the side of a media that portrays our nation as a paradise, while championing democracy, fundamental rights, and secularism. In doing so, we aim to restore the respect and integrity that journalism rightfully deserves."
