Dogs Today magazine started in 1990, created by Burlington Publishing Company Ltd, which is part of Associated Newspapers. The magazine was inspired by the late Viscount Rothermere, who owned the Daily Mail. His passion for dogs led him to believe that there was a need for a magazine dedicated to pet enthusiasts in Britain. The magazine's main office is located in Chobham, Surrey.
