Company pushed forward with cybersquatting dispute even after learning that the domain matches the domain registrant’s surname. A World Intellectual Property Organization panel has found (pdf) French company Cosmetic Research Group to have engaged in reverse domain name hijacking in a dispute over the domain name soskin.com. The company, which sells skincare products under the Soskin brand, filed the UDRP against Robert Soskin, who registered the domain name in 1998.
