    Warner Bros. Discovery is ditching the Max name. Warner Bros. Discovery (NYSE: WBD) is changing the name of its Max streaming service. It’s changing it to…wait for it…HBO Max. Yep, it’s going back to its old name. The streaming service is popular for its library of HBO hits and more recent content such as The Last of Us and The Pitt. It also airs sports events from TBS and TNT. Its rebrand from HBO Max to just Max in 2023 was controversial due to the brand reputation of HBO.

I was able to determine end user buyers for over a quarter of the platform’s public sales over $2,000. That does include ones that are likely end user sales but the buyer can’t be determined yet, such as bookz.com and blueeconomy.com.     Panel says Zaddy, LLC should have known it couldn’t win dispute over domain registered 13 years before its trademark rights. A World Intellectual Property Organization panel has found (pdf) Zaddy, LLC guilty of reverse domain name hijacking in a dispute over the domain name zaddy.com. Zaddy, LLC, which sells sex and wellness products under the ZADDY brand at ZaddyProducts .com, filed a UDRP against HugeDomains, a domain investment company that registered the domain in 2005.

The platform has been using the domain name curve .fi for its website. .Fi is the country code for Finland, and .fi domains are commonly used by DeFi companies.     The seller tried to hike the price from $38,000 to $380,000 after discovering Pay.com.au was the buyer, but a lawsuit must have changed his mind. A man who backed out of a domain deal after finding out who the buyer was has capitulated after the buyer sued him. Last month, Pay.com.au sued Dean Adams, the registrant of PayRewards.com at the time. The company claimed that Adams agreed to sell the domain name for $38,000, and Adams initiated a transaction through Escrow.com.
