Jeld-Wen Inc. has undergone a string of layoffs in recent months, the latest of which is set to take place in Oregon. The company filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) with the Oregon HECC Office of Workforce Investments on Thursday, May 1, announcing the impending closure of its doors plant in Chiloquin. The closing will displace 128 workers. Production will be moved to other existing facilities, Katie Lykins, Jeld-Wen’s manager of external communications, told [DWM].

A string of layoffs over recent months is set to continue for Jeld-Wen Inc., as the company prepares to release 56 workers from its facility in Dallas County, Texas. The door and window manufacturer filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) in March, with layoffs set to occur April 28. [DWM] has since confirmed that Jeld-Wen will end operations at the doors plant in Coppell, Texas, and move production to other existing facilities.
